Last Christmas I challenged the Orchards to make the holiday about compassion rather than consumption. Our goal was to raise $5000 to fund a well in Africa. The people stepped up in a huge way and we raised $10,000, enough to do 2 wells!
I just received this short video showing the first of those wells. I’ll be honest, I couldn’t keep the tears from rolling down my cheek as I watched the water being pumped out of a well in Ethiopia. “. . . I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. . .”
